Ha ha ha, gel cannot make you lose your hair. If that were true, women would be rubbing it all over their legs.

Many people wear a lot of hair product on a regular basis. It has no such effect.

If it chips off. I'm naturally hair up and then hair down. Gels aren't very healthy even if you wash it with the best shampoo ever. You don't want to lose hair. it may not grow back.

Wearing a hair product is usually only going to cause damage like split ends that break off, not hair loss. I like the shampoo Mane and tail for fuller thicker stronger hair or Nexus Humectress.. Try not to worry. Good luck to you.

Can u lose hair from wearing too much gel?

Yes, it is very true. The more gel, mousse, or spray you add to your hair can damage the folicles. These products prevent the hair from "breathing" and they often become brittle, and yes they can fall out. Be careful to choose products recommended by a stylist who actually knows which products are best.

Using too many chemicals on ur hair and skin will definitely ruin them u must not use too many of these artificial things if u must rinse off next day once or twice a week apply hair oil and leave it overnight and wash off the next day it will improve the texture n body of the hair

Can u lose hair from wearing too much gel?

A resounding YES. Gel tends to cause breakage and dryness, because its main ingredient is alcohol. Alcohol strips the hair of its sheen , luster and the ability to maintain moisture. Is there a certain style / look you are trying to achieve that requires the use of gel overnight? As far as how to promote hair thickness and growth, (thickness is usually preordained by heredity, but there are products out there like volumizing shampoos and conditioners that assist in a more full look) growth can be achieved by making sure you deep condition the hair at least twice a month, especially if you heat style your hair (apply conditioner, put on plastic cap, sit under dryer on low setting for 20 minutes, rinse with very cool water) and switch product line to on that is consistent with your hair's needs. All hair was not created equal! Treat your mane with care! Blessings!.....
