How to keep your hair tidy?

Hello, (male here lol)

I was wondering, usually I gel my hair to keep it tidy, but with the gel its making my hair grow back faster, I was wondering is there any other way of keeping my hair tidy. When I dont gel my hair it like bushes at the sides, meaning sticking out a bit...is there any way of training my hair to be flat and to keep it neat.

Regards

Yes - wear a cap - that will flatten your hair without the gel.

Go for a 6mm cut. Worked for me. Saved me a fortune on hair products and I looked good anyway.

I was told I looked like a Manchester drug dealer with my goaty beard. I think it was a complement?

I JUST SHAVE IT ALL OFF.

Get your hair just how you want it to look , then spray it with an extra firm hairspray. I find that I can flatten my hair by carefully positioning it and lying with my head on a pillow for a while. Good luck.

well i wouldnt think that the gel made your hair grow back quicker! but why dont you just cut it off between cuts, i know loadsa guys who do it, because the hair at the side is so short, when it does grow, you notice it more. or try a different style, grow it longer and see if you like it ?! good luck!x
